Zidane’s Views on Liverpool
Zidane has previously spoken highly of Liverpool and Anfield, ranking it among the best stadiums to play at alongside Manchester United’s Old Trafford, during an interview with Real Madrid’s official YouTube channel.
Ahead of Real Madrid’s 2021 Champions League clash with Liverpool, he praised the team as a “complete squad,” highlighting their collective strength as well as their potent attacking trio:
“They’re a strong, solid unit. The three forwards are very efficient, but it’s the team as a whole that makes them dangerous.”
However, Zidane has acknowledged that language could be a challenge if he were to manage in England. Speaking to L’Équipe in 2022, he stated:
“I understand English, but I don’t fully master it. I know some coaches go to clubs without speaking the language, but I work differently.”
