BREAKING NEWS: Full list of Manchester United January transfer officially confirmed as Man United owners the Glazers releases yet another £800M to Sir Jim Ratcliffe for January spending and massive upgrade

BREAKING: Manchester United’s full January transfer plans have now been confirmed, with reports claiming the Glazer family has approved another £800 million for Sir Jim Ratcliffe to fund winter signings and major squad upgrades.

Manchester United could be preparing for two major arrivals in the January transfer window as Ruben Amorim’s improving side looks to build on recent momentum, according to new reports.

United endured a difficult start to the Premier League campaign, with Amorim under pressure following last season’s shocking 15th-place finish. But after three straight victories and a 2–2 draw against Nottingham Forest on Saturday — earning ten points from a possible twelve — confidence has begun to return among supporters.

With performances stabilizing, Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS are eager to strengthen the team further when the window opens.

United spent more than £200 million on five new signings in the summer, but many fans and ex-players were frustrated that a midfielder wasn’t added to the squad. The club now appears ready to fix that oversight.

According to Caught Offside, Manchester United are prepared to intensify their pursuit of Nottingham Forest midfielder Anderson, who is valued at around £70 million. However, they will face stiff competition from Manchester City, who are also keen on the England international.

A source told the outlet:
“United view Anderson as the ideal long-term solution for that position, and they may look to accelerate the move in January. Directors, Amorim, and the coaching team are all in agreement that he would be a fantastic signing.”

Another Caught Offside report states that United continue to track Jarrad Branthwaite, despite the Everton defender recently signing a new contract through 2030. Everton remain adamant they will not sell and still value the player at around £70 million — the same price tag that scared United off last summer.

In Saturday’s match, Nottingham Forest scored twice shortly after halftime to take control before Amad Diallo netted late on to rescue a draw for United.

Speaking about the quick-fire goals conceded, Amorim said:
“We lost control for five minutes and paid the price. The energy levels weren’t the same as in our last match — that can happen away from home. My players gave everything, but the small details showed the drop in intensity. We need to work on that. In the Premier League, switching off for even a few minutes can change everything.”
