Jamie Carragher Questions Mohamed Salahās Undroppable Status at Liverpool
Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has sparked major debate among supporters after suggesting that Mohamed Salah should no longer be an automatic starter for the Reds.
Speaking on The Overlap, Carragher voiced concerns about Liverpoolās current tactical structure, arguing that the team lacks balance when Salah stays advanced and doesnāt contribute defensively.
āIf youāre not scoring enough goals at one end and youāre too exposed at the other, something has to give,ā Carragher said. āEither Salah needs to do more work off the ball, or he has to make way in certain matches.ā
Carragher went on to note that in particular, away games may require a more disciplined approach ā and that Liverpool could benefit from rotating Salah in those situations.
The Egyptian forward has scored just four goals in eleven Premier League matches this season, a dip in form that could make it his least productive campaign since arriving at Anfield in 2017.
Carragherās remarks have reignited heated discussion among fans and pundits alike: should Salah still be untouchable in Kloppās lineup? šš„
