Manchester United have found Casemiro’s replacement… but Real Madrid have set an “unbelievable” condition!

Man United Target Tchouameni, but Real Madrid Sets a Major Barrier

Manchester United have identified Aurelien Tchouameni as their ideal long-term replacement for Casemiro, but any deal for the French midfielder appears almost impossible — because Real Madrid have zero intention of selling him.

The 25-year-old is considered untouchable at the Bernabéu. Real Madrid have reportedly placed a minimum €100 million valuation on Tchouameni and have made it clear that negotiations are off the table. Both head coach Xabi Alonso and the club’s hierarchy view him as a vital part of their present squad and long-term project.

The Only Scenario Madrid Would Accept

There is just one situation in which Real Madrid would even consider letting Tchouameni leave:

➡️ Tchouameni must officially request a transfer to join Manchester United.

As things stand, Madrid believe the midfielder is fully settled, happy at the club, and committed to continuing his development at the Santiago Bernabéu. Because of that, the chances of a transfer remain extremely slim.

Why Man United Are Pushing for Tchouameni

Manchester United’s interest is driven by the uncertain future of Casemiro.
His contract expires at the end of the season, and although the club has an option to extend it by one year, United’s leadership reportedly does not want to activate it due to his high salary and physical decline.

United’s inability to qualify for the Champions League this season further complicates their chances of attracting top-tier players like Tchouameni.

A More Realistic Option for United

Given the difficulties surrounding Tchouameni, Manchester United may have to turn their attention elsewhere. One realistic alternative is Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson, who is valued at around £60 million and is seen as a more achievable target.
