Fans Shocked by Jurgen Klopp’s Post Just Hours After Liverpool’s Loss

Liverpool supporters flooded social media with reactions to Jürgen Klopp’s latest post, which dropped only hours after the team’s heavy Champions League defeat to PSV Eindhoven.

Liverpool’s struggles continued on Wednesday night as they fell 4–1 to PSV at Anfield. Goals from Ivan Perišić, Guus Til, and a brace from Couhaib Driouech sealed a memorable victory for the Dutch side, while Dominik Szoboszlai scored the Reds’ only goal. The loss has intensified the scrutiny on current manager Arne Slot, whose side has endured a difficult run of form.

With pressure rising, several names have already been linked with Liverpool should the club consider a managerial change — Xabi Alonso, Andoni Iraola, and Oliver Glasner among them. There has even been renewed speculation about a possible, though far-fetched, Klopp return.

Just a few hours after the PSV defeat, Klopp surprised fans with a cheerful Instagram upload. The former Liverpool boss posted a video of himself blind-ranking classic Thanksgiving dishes, captioning it:
“Happy Thanksgiving! A perfect excuse to begin my World Cup preparations for next year — starting with the most important subject: FOOD. Can’t wait to see which stadium has the best hot dogs.”

Fans reacted instantly and humorously online.
One wrote: “Klopp is the favourite to replace Slot and he’s out here blind-ranking hot dogs.”
Another said: “Liverpool are falling apart & Klopp is talking about Clam Chowder on Instagram.”
A third joked: “He’s bored ranking food — just give him the job already.”

Despite the chatter around his future, reports indicate that Slot still has the support of the Liverpool board for now, even amid the recent disappointing results.

Liverpool look ahead to Sunday’s Premier League clash against West Ham United at the London Stadium, hoping to steady the ship.
