Arne Slot, who has shown during his short tenure at the club that he doesnโt value reputations over performance, might be prepared to push for a resolution if he senses Trentโs commitment wavering. However, given Liverpoolโs strong form and the potential for a title challenge, losing one of their key players mid-season would hardly benefit either side.
Unless Liverpool has a pressing need to bring in Tchouameni, a January transfer doesn’t seem to make much sense at this point.
