Vinicius is close to leaving Real Madrid after his departure became a realistic possibility

Vinicius Junior’s future has taken an unexpected turn, with the Brazilian winger recently receiving offers from top clubs in Europe and Saudi Arabia. This development comes despite previous assurances from both the player and Real Madrid that he was considered an unsellable asset. However, reports published today indicate that Vinicius has accepted an offer from another club, making his departure from Real Madrid imminent. His next destination for the upcoming season has already been revealed.

Vinicius has been a prominent figure in the media recently, sparking debates both on and off the field. After the controversy surrounding the Ballon d’Or, his future at the club has remained uncertain. Saudi Arabia had attempted to sign him last summer, offering an enormous deal that would have been the most expensive transfer in history, along with a lucrative salary, potentially making him one of the world’s highest-paid players. This deal posed a major challenge for him to remain at Real Madrid, adding more uncertainty to his future.

Francois Gallardo, a well-known transfer expert, has now confirmed that Vinicius Junior’s sale has already been finalized. Gallardo stated that the player is heading to either Paris Saint-Germain or Manchester City. When asked about the accuracy of this information, Gallardo confirmed, “It is true, and the sale is closed,” fueling rumors of the player’s departure from Real Madrid.

Gallardo explained that one of the reasons behind the sale is that Vinicius has become a financial burden on the club, costing Real Madrid approximately 35 million euros annually. This contrasts with Paris Saint-Germain’s reported spending of 100 million euros annually to acquire Kylian Mbappé. Gallardo also mentioned that Vinicius’ on-field behavior, particularly his provocations, has not been well received by Real Madrid’s president, Florentino Pérez, who does not tolerate such actions. This is not the first time the club has addressed the player’s conduct.

Although Gallardo previously predicted Mbappé’s move to Real Madrid in 2022—an outcome that did not materialize—he is now adamant that Vinicius will soon leave the club. The coming weeks will likely reveal more, but it seems clear that the player’s departure is only a matter of time.
