Mbappé had a prime opportunity to showcase his skills after Vinícius was sidelined due to injury in a crucial match. However, as has been the case for much of this season, the French forward struggled to meet the necessary standards, appearing disconnected, inaccurate, and lacking energy.
This marks one of Mbappé’s lowest points since joining the club, prompting a strong response from Guti on the “El Chiringuito” program. Guti remarked, “Mbappé was not at the required level. He lacks confidence and seems timid.”

Guti stressed that Mbappé needs to improve various aspects of his game to meet the high expectations at Real Madrid. He suggested that Pérez should consider selling the French star and pursue Swedish striker Viktor Guquéres from Sporting Lisbon, a player Guti believes could be more beneficial to the team than Mbappé.
