João Pedro is being considered by the Reds as a long-term replacement for Darwin Núñez at Anfield.
Pedro has been outstanding this season, scoring goals against Manchester United, Arsenal, and Manchester City. The Brighton forward has netted four goals in eight appearances for the Seagulls.
While the journalist did not mention Pedro’s price tag or the fee Liverpool are willing to pay, the player fits the profile of what Liverpool need in attack. His style of play is similar to that of former forward Roberto Firmino, as he excels at linking up with teammates and involving others in the attack, a quality that would complement Salah well.
Inter Milan’s Marcus Thuram is also on Slot’s radar as another potential addition to strengthen the attack.
