David Ornstein has reported that Manchester United has already secured two agreements with Bayern Munich. As they near the completion of their summer transfer activities, the Red Devils are getting closer to finalizing their deals. While they are still keen on acquiring a striker and possibly a midfielder, they are on the brink of significantly improving their defensive capabilities.
According to Oscar ‘d’ talker of FOOTBALLWAVE, Manchester United and Bayern Munich have reached an agreement for the transfer of Matthijs de Ligt. To meet Bayern’s €50 million valuation, Manchester United is set to offer €45 million with the potential for an additional €5 million in bonuses.
David Ornstein of The Athletic reports that Manchester United and Bayern Munich have agreed on the transfer of Matthijs de Ligt. To meet Bayern’s €50 million valuation, Manchester United will offer €45 million plus an additional €5 million in potential add-ons.
Additionally, Ornstein confirms that Manchester United and Bayern Munich have also agreed on the transfer of Noussair Mazraoui. However, this deal is dependent on the sale of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who is in advanced talks with West Ham. Manchester United will pay €15 million for Mazraoui, with another €5 million possible in add-ons. Mazraoui has already been in agreement with United for some time, similar to the situation with De Ligt.
The finalization of these two transfers allows Bayern Munich to proceed with acquiring Jonathan Tah, the German international from Bayer Leverkusen. Bayer Leverkusen had previously sought assurances from Bayern regarding their demands, but these were not provided. Despite missing a deadline, German media still expect Bayern to complete the signing of Tah, now that funds from the De Ligt sale are available.
