Tottenham fans are all saying the same thing after brutal 6-3 loss to Liverpool

Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social media following their 6-3 loss to Liverpool at home to say the same thing, and they aren’t happy.

After Chelsea’s failure to apply pressure on Liverpool with a win at Goodison Park on Sunday, Liverpool had the chance to extend their lead at the top of the league to four points with a victory over Tottenham.

In a commanding performance, Liverpool triumphed 6-3 away, with goals from Luis Diaz, Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Mohamed Salah securing the win.

Following the match, Tottenham fans flocked online, pointing to one key factor for their heavy defeat to the league leaders.

While fans of other clubs may be questioning Ange Postecoglou’s job security after the loss, Tottenham supporters have taken to social media to defend the Australian coach, instead directing their frustration at the club’s ownership.

Reacting to the result, one fan wrote: “The squad is depleted and full of youngsters. No other manager would do better with this team right now. Keep pressuring the board and Levy so Ange gets the support he needs.”

Another supporter agreed, saying: “Liverpool fans would never put up with a Daniel Levy or Enic for 5 years, let alone 24. They’d never passively accept such awful owners!”

An angry fan added: “The club is a disgrace. We’ve been made a laughing stock for 25 years. Things weren’t perfect before, but we never had this. Daniel Levy, Cullen, and the others are a disgrace. Just leave… please.”

Before the match, Tottenham fans gathered outside the stadium to protest against the ownership, holding black balloons with “Levy Out” written on them.

Throughout the match, balloons could be seen drifting onto the pitch, with striker Dominic Solanke even tripping over one at one point.

The win moves Liverpool four points clear at the top of the league, with a game in hand still to be played against Everton.

Meanwhile, Tottenham is facing a tough season, sitting 11th in the Premier League, eight points adrift of the top four.
