Barcelona star ign, ites the atmosphere in Catalonia and decides to leave the team because of Hansi Flick

According to media reports, a key player from Barcelona’s first team is reportedly interested in moving to an English Premier League club in the near future. Frenkie de Jong, the club’s standout midfielder, had previously been linked to a potential transfer to Manchester United during the time when Erik ten Hag, the Dutch coach, was in charge. As per Spanish publication El Nacional, De Jong is now seriously considering a move to Manchester United soon.

The report further suggests that the Dutch midfielder is dissatisfied with his lack of playing time under Barcelona’s coach Hansi Flick, and he believes he could secure more game time at an English club. Conversations about his future are expected to intensify in the coming days, with a possible transfer decision before the January window closes.

Should De Jong leave, Barcelona could register Dani Olmo for the remainder of the season, benefiting from a reduced salary cap. In a recent interview with Sport, De Jong confessed, “I never expected to win the Spanish League title once I joined Barcelona. I must admit that. We won La Liga once, the Cup once, and the Spanish Super Cup once.”

De Jong added, “I anticipated winning at least two titles with Barcelona each season, but what has happened has been disappointing. There are things that occur that can’t be predicted.”
