Olmo: Ancelotti breaks the silence and lets go of his truths about Barca

Carlo Ancelotti, the head coach of Real Madrid, was recently questioned about Dani Olmo’s situation, as he has not yet been registered for the second half of the season with FC Barcelona.

During a press conference on Thursday, Ancelotti was asked about Olmo’s status. Staying true to his typically cautious nature, the Real Madrid manager chose not to go into detail, stating, “I don’t know the specifics of this matter. What I can say is that I respect all clubs, institutions, and regulations. Since I don’t have full knowledge of the situation, I’m unable to provide further comments.”

Ancelotti was also asked about the current state of La Liga, especially Barcelona’s recent drop in points. Regarding Barcelona’s struggles, he remarked, “No one expected this, but with La Liga being slightly less competitive, fewer points are required to win the title. Atletico’s involvement in the race adds some unpredictability. I think less than 90 points will be needed to win the championship.”

When asked about the main contender for the title between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, Ancelotti gave a pragmatic response: “It’s even.

Just like we saw in November, Barcelona had a tough December. Teams go through difficult phases but often bounce back. Both Barcelona and Atletico have just as much of a chance as we do in competing for the La Liga title.”
