Watch what Federico Chiesa did instantly after ridiculous Harvey Elliott goal

Liverpool have bounced back strongly from their mid-season slump (if it can even be called that).

After a draw at Nottingham Forest, they secured a thrilling late victory at the Gtech Community Stadium against Brentford, and as of now, they are leading Lille at Anfield.

It’s important to remember that they were facing a formidable Ligue 1 side in Bruno Genesio’s Lille team.

Les Dogues have already claimed victories in Europe against Spanish heavyweights Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, while sitting third in Ligue 1.

Federico Chiesa is clearly enjoying his time at Liverpool.

It’s easy to understand why fans were left momentarily speechless by Jonathan David’s equalizer.

Luckily, Liverpool didn’t have to wait too long to regain the lead in their Champions League match.

Harvey Elliott, who replaced the injured Curtis Jones at halftime, was the one to restore the advantage in the second half with a shot from outside the box.

While the effort did take, as Amazon put it, a “wicked deflection,” at this point, who’s really bothered?

And who was the first to join in the celebration with Elliott? None other than Liverpool substitute Federico Chiesa, who continued his joyful celebrations after his impressive performance against Brentford with another one at Anfield.

For those who missed the match, it’s worth mentioning that Chiesa had not yet come on as a substitute!

If that doesn’t show how much the Italian international is enjoying his time at Liverpool after his summer move from Juventus, we’re not sure what will!

You can’t help but love Fede.
