Arne Slot’s dream Liverpool transfer delivers huge blow and says he won’t be joining the club while on camera

One of Arne Slot’s key transfer targets has stated that he will not join Liverpool while speaking on camera.

Liverpool has not made any signings in January, following the two arrivals in the summer transfer window. Federico Chiesa, who joined from Juventus for ÂŁ12.5 million, is starting to regain his form at Anfield after battling injuries. Meanwhile, goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili, who signed for ÂŁ25 million plus ÂŁ4 million in add-ons, is spending the remainder of the season on loan at Valencia.

With the transfer deadline approaching, it seems unlikely that Liverpool will make any new additions this month. Instead, the club is focusing on securing contract extensions for key players Trent Alexander-Arnold, Mohamed Salah, and Virgil van Dijk.

A potential signing for Liverpool has ruled himself out of a move to the club. Milos Kerkez, the 21-year-old Bournemouth left-back, recently held a YouTube live stream where several Liverpool fans urged him to join the Reds. Kerkez, who has impressed this season with his attacking contributions, has been linked to Liverpool as a possible long-term replacement for Andy Robertson.

However, during the live stream, Kerkez addressed the fans’ comments directly, stating: “Yes, yes. I will not go to Liverpool. For everybody listening, I will not go to Liverpool,” effectively putting an end to any speculation about a move to Anfield.

Milos Kerkez is fully focused on the remainder of the season with Bournemouth, who are currently in sixth place in the Premier League after a strong run under manager Andoni Iraola. The Cherries are on an impressive 10-match unbeaten streak, which includes a notable 4-1 victory at Newcastle last Saturday, despite being without a natural striker in the starting XI due to injuries.

While it remains to be seen whether Kerkez could reconsider a move in the summer, for now, it’s clear that his attention is firmly with Bournemouth as they continue their push for a strong finish to the season.
