“I don’t care if the transfer window has closed I want to leave now. I’m tired of the way I’m being treated at Old Trafford” – This is according to a Rising Manchester United star makes a shocking statement aimed at Amorim as top European clubs vie for his signature, according to reports.

Manchester United is facing ongoing difficulties in the goalkeeping department, with André Onana struggling to deliver consistent performances. His latest error against Crystal Palace has added to concerns about his reliability, raising questions about whether he is the right long-term successor to David de Gea.

Despite Onana’s inconsistent form, backup goalkeeper Altay Bayindir has had very limited opportunities since joining from Fenerbahçe. He made his Europa League debut against Rangers but has yet to feature in a Premier League match, leading fans to wonder why he hasn’t been given more chances.

Under former manager Erik ten Hag, Onana remained the first-choice goalkeeper despite his mistakes. However, since Ruben Amorim took charge, there has been a shift. Amorim has shown more willingness to use Bayindir, giving him four starts, including a standout FA Cup performance against Arsenal, where he played a key role in a penalty shootout victory.

Despite these chances, Bayindir is reportedly frustrated with his lack of regular playing time. According to Turkish outlet Star, he is eager to leave United and return to Turkey, where he hopes to secure more minutes and strengthen his position as the national team’s first-choice goalkeeper.

Galatasaray has emerged as a potential destination, especially with veteran goalkeeper Fernando Muslera considering a departure. Reports suggest that Galatasaray has already begun talks with Bayindir’s representatives, though other Süper Lig clubs are also interested.

Bayindir’s future at United remains uncertain and could depend on Amorim’s long-term vision. While the Portuguese manager may continue backing Onana, United has also been linked with Borussia Dortmund’s Gregor Kobel, a highly rated goalkeeper who could compete for the starting role. Additionally, Amorim is said to be impressed with academy prospect Elyh Harrison, which could further limit Bayindir’s opportunities.

If United signs another goalkeeper, Bayindir’s chances of breaking into the first team would shrink even further. Given his talent and contract running until 2027, United could demand a significant transfer fee, with his current market value estimated at around €10 million.

For now, Bayindir’s future hangs in the balance. If he continues to be overlooked at United, a summer move—possibly to Galatasaray—could be on the horizon. The coming months will be crucial in determining whether he stays to fight for a spot or seeks a fresh start elsewhere.
