Mo Salah has just broken a significant record that nobody in the history of the Premier League has ever been able to achieve

Mo Salah continues to rewrite the history books, showing once again that no record is out of his reach.

In Liverpool’s opening match of the season against Ipswich Town, the Egyptian forward was as effective as ever, scoring in the second half to double the Reds’ advantage.

The first goal of the Arne Slot era was a superb team effort, showcasing smooth interplay between Trent Alexander-Arnold, Mo Salah, and Diogo Jota, who completed the move. This goal energized Liverpool and set the tone for the rest of the game at Portman Road.

With this latest goal, Salah surpassed Frank Lampard, Wayne Rooney, and Alan Shearer, each of whom previously held the record for eight goals on Premier League opening days. Salah now holds this record outright, further solidifying his status as a footballing legend.
