Bayern Munich put Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester City on high alert after making shock decision regarding Joshua Kimmich future

Bayern Munich’s decision to withdraw their contract extension offer for Joshua Kimmich has sent shockwaves through the football world, drawing interest from top clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Manchester City. With his contract set to expire on June 30, 2025, Kimmich’s future at the club he has long been integral to now appears uncertain.

The dispute reportedly stems from Bayern’s reluctance to offer Kimmich a signing bonus similar to those received by Alphonso Davies and Jamal Musiala, given his already high wages. This deadlock has opened the door for other European giants to pursue the versatile midfielder.

Premier League clubs Arsenal and Liverpool are among those eager to sign Kimmich. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is looking to strengthen his midfield amid potential departures, while Liverpool sees Kimmich as a key addition to their squad.

Despite the speculation, Bayern’s sporting director, Christoph Freund, remains hopeful of reaching an agreement, emphasizing that talks with Kimmich are ongoing and that a resolution is needed soon.

Currently sidelined with a thigh injury, Kimmich has also drawn interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan. His leadership, versatility, and experience make him a highly sought-after player.

As negotiations continue, Bayern must decide whether to secure Kimmich’s future at the Allianz Arena or risk losing a key figure in their recent success. The coming weeks will be crucial in determining his next move.
