BREAKING: Liverpool Owners Back Major Signing as “World-Class” Star Set for Anfield Move.

Milos Kerkez: A Key Player to Watch in the Summer Transfer Window

Milos Kerkez has emerged as one of the most sought-after defenders ahead of the summer transfer window. His impressive performances for Bournemouth this season have put him on the radar of several top clubs, making it likely that Bournemouth will receive multiple offers. Credit goes to the club and manager Andoni Iraola for trusting and developing him, especially after holding onto him last summer despite strong interest. However, sources close to Kerkez suggest that this time, a move could be more likely.

Liverpool Have Been Tracking Kerkez Since 2024

Kerkez made a significant career move in January by signing with agent Fali Ramadani and Lian Sports, signaling his openness to a new challenge. With Ramadani also representing Federico Chiesa and having strong ties to Liverpool and other top European clubs, a summer transfer appears increasingly probable.

Liverpool’s interest in Kerkez dates back to 2024 when Bournemouth were unwilling to sell. However, with the Reds still looking to strengthen their left-back position in 2025, their interest remains strong. Liverpool director Richard Hughes has deep connections with Bournemouth and Kerkez, which could be a key factor in negotiations.

Arne Slot Approves Kerkez Move – Valued at €45M

While no deal has been finalized yet, Liverpool are prioritizing a new left-back this summer, along with a centre-back. Kerkez is one of three top targets already approved by incoming manager Arne Slot. Negotiations are expected to progress in the coming months, with the Hungarian full-back eager to play Champions League football.

Bournemouth will determine their final asking price closer to the summer, but a deal is expected to be in the range of €40-45 million.

Manchester United, Chelsea & Atletico Madrid Also Monitoring

Manchester United were strongly interested in signing Kerkez in January and had him high on their shortlist. However, Bournemouth refused to sell, leading United to pursue Patrick Dorgu instead. As a result, United are now unlikely to re-enter the race.

Meanwhile, Chelsea and Atletico Madrid have been scouting Kerkez multiple times this season, which means other clubs could still emerge as competitors. However, Liverpool remain frontrunners for his signature, and as the transfer window approaches, the race for Kerkez is set to heat up.
