After the well-deserved qualification against Benfica… Rafinha and Yamal, the best duo in Barcelona this season, are in a state of out, rage after the match due to the team’s disastrous star

Barcelona secured a dominant 3-1 victory over Benfica in the second leg, sealing a 4-1 aggregate win and advancing to the Champions League quarter-finals. The team put on a commanding performance, controlling the game and reinforcing their ambitions in the competition. They now await the winner of the Lille vs. Borussia Dortmund tie in the next round.

However, despite the impressive qualification, tensions arose within the squad. According to the Spanish newspaper El Nacional, Barcelona’s attacking duo, Lamine Yamal and Raphinha, were reportedly frustrated after the match—specifically with Polish striker Robert Lewandowski.

The pair were unhappy with Lewandowski’s wastefulness in front of goal and his struggles to keep up with Hansi Flick’s high-pressing system. They allegedly urged Flick to drop him from the starting lineup, believing his lack of energy was holding the team back.

“We don’t want to see him on the pitch again,” they reportedly told Flick, highlighting their concerns about his recent form.

These statements have now sparked speculation about Lewandowski’s future in the team, raising questions about whether Flick will make significant changes to his attacking setup in the upcoming matches.
