The German coach’s primary concern is DΓazβs age. With the player turning 29 in January 2026, Flick prefers to bring in younger talent with long-term potential. Given this strategy, a move for DΓaz does not align with his vision.

Instead, Flick is keen on signing Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams. At just 22 years old, Williams offers room for development and fits Flickβs preference for young talent. His speed, dribbling skills, and playing style also align well with Barcelonaβs footballing philosophy.
