Arsenal has not yet officially announced the signing of a striker who scored 34 goals this season, despite growing excitement. However, the club is actively working to strengthen their attack by targeting some of Europe’s top forwards.
One leading candidate is Viktor GyΓΆkeres from Sporting CP, who has had a sensational season with 42 goals and 11 assists. His powerful playing style has drawn comparisons to Erling Haaland, and he appears to be an excellent fit for Mikel Artetaβs system at Arsenal.
Another strong option is Jonathan David from Lille. The Canadian striker has an impressive record of 87 goals in 189 games, and with his contract nearing expiration, Arsenal are reportedly ahead of other big clubs like Manchester United and Juventus in the race to sign him.
Arsenal has also shown interest in Paul Onuachu, a Nigerian striker who scored 35 goals for Genk last season. Reports suggest the Gunners are preparing a β¬30 million bid for him.
While Arsenalβs efforts to land a top striker show serious intent, no official transfer has been completed yet.
