One of Paris Saint-Germain’s best players this season has officially requested his agent to open negotiations with Laporta for a transfer to Barcelona in the upcoming summer transfer window!

Barcelona Eyes PSG Star Bradley Barcola Amid Growing Transfer Tension

In a major development ahead of their Champions League semifinal second leg against Inter Milan, Barcelona are exploring a summer move for Paris Saint-Germain forward Bradley Barcola, according to El Nacional.

The 22-year-old French winger, who impressed early in the season after Kylian Mbappé’s departure, has seen his role reduced following the arrivals of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and the rise of Ousmane Dembélé and Desire Doue. Despite scoring 18 goals and providing 17 assists across competitions, Barcola has lost his guaranteed starting spot under Luis Enrique.

Barcola has now instructed his agent, Jorge Mendes, to open negotiations with Barcelona president Joan Laporta and sporting director Deco. The player is reportedly eager for a new challenge and views La Liga as the right next step.

New Barça manager Hansi Flick is said to be a strong admirer of Barcola and sees him as a possible long-term replacement for Raphinha, whose future at the club remains uncertain. Initial contact has already been made between Mendes and the Barça board.

However, any potential transfer will be costly. PSG are reportedly demanding €80 million, nearly double what they paid to sign Barcola from Lyon. While Barça remain financially cautious, Flick’s endorsement could push them to make a strong bid.
