Full Story:

Toni Kroos will once again grace the Santiago Bernabéu, not for a competitive fixture, but for a symbolic and emotional return in the Corazón Classic Match. Scheduled for June 7, 2025, the encounter pits Real Madrid Legends vs. Borussia Dortmund Legends, reuniting Kroos with fans just over a year after his final home game.

The 34-year-old retired after lifting the 2024 UEFA Champions League title against Dortmund — ending a decorated career with 23 trophies, including 4 La Liga titles and 5 Champions Leagues with Real Madrid. His return post on Instagram simply read:

“Bernabéu, I’ll see you again.”

Joining him on the pitch will be Casillas, Marcelo, and Pepe, with more icons to be announced. The event, hosted annually by the Real Madrid Foundation, raises funds for vital social projects.

A decade of elegance, vision, and midfield mastery — this one-off appearance will serve as a farewell encore to one of football’s most complete midfielders.
