Surprise French star offers his services to Barcelona after Bernal’s injury

Gerard Romero, the renowned journalist, has disclosed potential replacements for the injured Marc Bernal at Barcelona. The talented 17-year-old Spaniard has suffered a cruciate ligament injury and will be sidelined for at least six months. In light of this, a surprising French star has offered to join Barcelona to help fill the gap left by Bernal’s injury.

Gerard Romero, the well-known journalist, has identified potential replacements for the injured Marc Bernal at Barcelona. The 17-year-old Spanish talent is sidelined for at least six months due to a cruciate ligament injury, effectively ending his season with the club.

Romero, who specializes in Barcelona news, highlighted that Adrien Rabiot, the former Juventus star and French international, is a leading candidate to fill Bernal’s role. Rabiot has reportedly been offered to Barcelona to strengthen their midfield and to help address the void left by Gundogan’s departure.

However, Romero noted that while Rabiot is an attractive option due to his current free-agent status, his high salary demands could be a hurdle. If Rabiot is willing to lower his salary, Barcelona could move forward with the signing.

The final decision rests with German coach Hans Flick, and Barcelona president Joan Laporta is awaiting Flick’s approval before initiating negotiations with Rabiot.
