Liverpool have officially begun their pursuit of French striker Hugo Ekitike, currently playing for Eintracht Frankfurt, as confirmed by Sky Germanyβs Florian Plettenberg.
The Reds have already opened discussions with the 22-year-old, with both new head coach Arne Slot and sporting director Michael Edwards highly interested in the deal. Ekitike is coming off a standout season, having scored 15 goals and delivered 8 assists in the Bundesliga.
