The two-time Premier League winner is set to encounter new competition this summer, as Giorgi Mamardashvili joins the squad.
Alisson, who has been with the club since 2018, remains under contract until 2026.
“I’ve got one more year left on my current deal, plus an optional year the club can activate,” Alisson explained. “I expect they’ll take that option.”
He added, “Right now, I’m focused on the present and delivering strong performances. This is a pivotal moment in my career, especially with the World Cup on the horizon.”
