Barcelona fans have come up with a new nickname for Dani Olmo after seeing who the midfielder is on holiday with.

Barça Clinch La Liga in Flick’s First Season as Olmo Shines — Transfer Drama Looms for Summer Reinforcements

Barcelona secured the La Liga title under new manager Hansi Flick in his debut season, with Dani Olmo playing a crucial role after joining from RB Leipzig in a €60 million deal.

Despite completing the transfer, Barcelona initially faced challenges registering Olmo due to ongoing financial constraints. He was allowed to play until January, but his registration was blocked thereafter. The club’s initial legal appeal failed in December, but a subsequent court ruling allowed him to rejoin the squad in January, becoming officially eligible again from April.

Olmo made the most of his time on the pitch, finishing the season with 10 goals and three assists, helping Barça seal the league title with two games to spare.

Barcelona have already added goalkeeper Joan García from local rivals Espanyol for €25 million, but the club continues to seek attacking reinforcements. Among their targets are Nico Williams, Marcus Rashford, and Luis Díaz.

The move for Williams appears to be furthest along, though it’s not without controversy. Athletic Bilbao are reportedly preparing a formal complaint, alleging that Barça’s intention to activate the €62 million release clause for Williams would violate La Liga’s strict ‘1:1’ spending regulation. The rule requires clubs to match outgoing expenses with incoming revenue.

Barcelona also reportedly made a recent approach for Liverpool winger Luis Díaz, but the Merseyside club quickly shut down negotiations, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano. Although Díaz is also drawing interest from Saudi club Al Nassr, Barça could yet return with a fresh bid.

Fueling speculation, a photo shared by @BarcaUniversal shows Olmo and Díaz vacationing together in Ibiza, suggesting a growing connection between the two players.

With neither Barcelona nor Liverpool participating in this summer’s expanded Club World Cup, their players are enjoying an extended offseason before preparations for the 2025/26 campaign begin.

While opinions remain divided among fans over whether Barcelona should prioritize signing Luis Díaz instead of Nico Williams, some supporters are already playfully referring to Dani Olmo as “Agent Olmo” following his viral holiday photo with the Colombian winger.

One fan joked, “Agent Olmo working overtime now.”
Another chimed in, “Agent Olmo on duty.”
A third pleaded, “Agent Olmo. Please bring him to Barça. We want him.”

The light-hearted comments reflect growing fan excitement about a potential Díaz transfer, especially with Olmo seemingly close to the Liverpool star.
