Real Madrid reveals the name of the next coach after Carlo Ancelotti

Real Madrid is highly satisfied with Carlo Ancelotti, with Florentino Perez regarding him as the club’s top coach, a sentiment reflected in his contract extension through 2026. However, the club appears to be planning for the future, as journalist Antonio Guijarro mentioned on his YouTube channel that a potential successor to Ancelotti is already being considered.

According to Guijarro, Xabi Alonso, the former footballer and current coach of Bayer Leverkusen, could be the next in line to take over at the Santiago Bernabéu. Real Madrid is reportedly closely observing Alonso’s progress with Bayer Leverkusen, indicating their strong interest in his development as a coach.

Alonso, who has turned down significant offers from clubs like Bayern Munich and Liverpool, demonstrates a deep commitment to his coaching career, which enhances his chances of eventually leading Real Madrid. His familiarity with the club’s workings is seen as a crucial factor in his potential selection. Spanish newspaper Defensa Central notes that Perez believes Alonso is well-suited to lead Real Madrid’s young project and achieve the desired results in the future.
