Eden Hazard is set to make his return at Stamford Bridge, playing for Chelsea for the first time since leaving the club in 2019.
The Belgian icon has been back once before as a visitor, when Chelsea defeated Real Madrid in the 2021 Champions League semi-final second leg, later going on to beat Manchester City in the final.
This time, Hazard will once again don Chelsea blue as he features in the Chelsea Legends match against Liverpool Legends on October 11 at Stamford Bridge – affectionately called “The Garden of Eden” in his honour.
Hazard created countless memories against Liverpool during his career, including his famous solo goal at Anfield in the Carabao Cup, when he dribbled past five defenders before firing into the far corner.
Joining him in the Legends clash will be John Terry, Roberto Di Matteo, Ramires, Joe Cole, Katie Chapman, Carlo Cudicini, William Gallas, and Gemma Davison, as Chelsea aim to avenge their 2-0 defeat to Liverpool Legends at Anfield earlier this year.
The event will support the Chelsea FC Foundation and the Chelsea Players’ Trust
