Liverpool recently signed Federico Chiesa from Juventus to bolster their right-wing options. If Salah leaves, Liverpool might consider replacing him with Bayern Munich’s Leroy Sane.
According to Todofichajes, Liverpool is interested in the 28-year-old German player, who is unlikely to renew his contract with Bayern Munich, which also expires in 2025.
Bayern plans to offer Sane a new contract this season, but he is not interested in signing it. Sane is reportedly keen on a move to Liverpool to return to the Premier League after his time at Manchester City, where he played 135 games, scoring 39 goals and providing 43 assists.
If Liverpool pursues Sane next summer, they will compete with Saudi Arabian clubs, which may offer a higher salary. Although Sane is believed to prefer staying in Europe for a few more years, it remains to be seen how enticing the offers from Saudi clubs will be.
