Man Utd Fans Demand Ruben Amorim Drops Player ASAP After Nottingham Forest Draw

Manchester United fans are calling for Ruben Amorim to drop one particular player following his poor showing against Nottingham Forest.

The Red Devils’ winless run stretched to four games on Saturday as they were held to a 2-2 draw at the City Ground—a result that will surely frustrate fans like viral supporter Frank Ilett.

United took the lead just before halftime through Casemiro, but Forest fought back with goals from Morgan Gibbs-White and Nicolo Savona in the second half. Although Amad Diallo salvaged a point with a brilliant strike, many supporters once again questioned Amorim’s tactics and team selection.

One player, however, has drawn the most criticism from fans, who insist he should be benched ahead of next weekend’s clash with Tottenham Hotspur.

Amorim’s first substitution of the match saw right-back Diogo Dalot replaced by Patrick Dorgu—much to the relief of many United fans who had been voicing their frustration online.

Supporters on social media slammed Dalot throughout the match. One wrote on X, “Dalot, the sooner you leave my club the better my life will get.” Another complained, “Dalot costs us time and time again. Why does Amorim keep playing him?”

A third fan joked, “Dalot is that player who, if you see a short clip, you’d think he’s terrible—and after watching 90 minutes, you realize you were absolutely right.”

Others were more blunt in their criticism, with one user adding: “Dalot is so frustrating to watch. Isn’t a defender supposed to be physical and stop crosses? He just hops and ball watches. Embarrassing defending.”

Their frustration is understandable, as Dalot appeared to be at fault for Savona’s goal, which left United scrambling for an equaliser.
