EXCL | Kenan Yildiz is a player who Liverpool really like. If Yildiz was available on the market #LFC would jump at the opportunity to sign Kenan.

How Liverpool Could Tempt Kenan Yildiz Away From Juventus

Kenan Yildiz has emerged as one of Europe’s most exciting young attackers, and Liverpool are now among the clubs monitoring the Juventus star closely.

The 20-year-old has drawn significant Premier League interest thanks to his versatility across the front line. Although he can operate centrally, Yildiz is most effective on the left wing, where he has produced three goals and four assists in 13 appearances this season.

His rapid rise has only intensified attention, with Football Insider reporting on 26 September that Chelsea and Manchester United are preparing to pursue him in 2026.

A January move is viewed as almost impossible — Juventus have no intention of selling — yet that hasn’t stopped clubs from positioning themselves should circumstances change.

Liverpool’s Interest and Yildiz’s Future

Football Insider previously revealed that Juventus expect Yildiz to remain in Turin and eventually sign an improved long-term deal, despite interest from Liverpool and Chelsea.

However, as explained on the latest episode of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, Yildiz could reconsider his future if Juventus fail to meet his ambitions. After a disappointing couple of seasons, the forward wants a team capable of challenging for trophies and consistently qualifying for European competitions. Liverpool, of course, can offer both.

On the podcast, it was noted:

“It’s no shock that clubs are lining up for Yildiz — he’s regarded as one of Europe’s brightest young talents. Juventus want to keep him and talks are ongoing over a fresh contract, even though he’s already tied down until 2029.

“Liverpool aren’t alone. Chelsea, Arsenal, and Manchester United all view him as a top prospect for the future.

“Juventus are confident he’ll sign new terms, but if the team doesn’t show the ambition Yildiz expects — competing regularly and winning trophies — Premier League sides will be ready to lure him to England.”

Despite Juventus’ optimism about securing his long-term commitment, a Premier League switch cannot be ruled out.

Chelsea Currently Ahead of Liverpool

Former Everton chief executive Keith Wyness told Football Insider on 15 October that Chelsea are currently leading the chase, having been admirers of Yildiz for some time. The Blues even saw a £70 million bid rejected by Juventus in the summer window.

That head start may leave Liverpool at a disadvantage as they continue looking for additional quality in wide positions — despite already spending heavily during the recent transfer period.
