Uruguayan defender Ronald Araujo has returned to the Ciutat Esportiva to continue his recovery from a right hamstring injury sustained while playing for Uruguay in the Copa América quarter-finals against Brazil. After initially returning to Barcelona for an injury assessment, Araujo underwent successful surgery in Finland.
On Friday morning in Barcelona, Araujo observed his teammates training, including Ansu Fati, who participated in the session. Midfielder Gavi also joined part of the training with the team.
Hansi Flick’s squad is preparing for their match against Girona at Montilivi, scheduled for Sunday at 4:15 PM CEST.
