Antoine Semenyo’s future at Bournemouth has become a constant topic of speculation, with Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City all monitoring him ahead of the January transfer window.

The 25-year-old signed a new deal in the summer that reportedly includes a £65million release clause — a figure that has alerted several top Premier League clubs as the winter window approaches.

Recruitment moves determine titles

As mentioned on the latest episode of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, Liverpool are believed to be leading the chase for the Ghanaian forward. Despite competition from Arsenal and Man City, it’s understood they feel confident about convincing him to join, even with recent struggles on the pitch.

This follows Football Insider’s earlier report on 2 December suggesting Liverpool were in pole position, though it remains unclear whether Semenyo would consider leaving midway through the season.

While the release clause is considered realistic for all interested clubs, it’s uncertain whether any of them will activate it in January.

Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal Battle for Semenyo

A previous Football Insider update in October stated that Liverpool may have a slight advantage thanks to sporting director Richard Hughes’ strong links to Bournemouth. Hughes was responsible for bringing Semenyo to the Vitality Stadium during his time there, and he could attempt to reunite with the player once again.
