A star from Barcelona’s first football team has revealed exciting news regarding a potential signing that could elevate the club in the coming seasons. Gavi stated, in comments reported by the Spanish newspaper AS, “If I were in Deco’s position as Barcelona’s sporting director, I would have signed Haaland.” Interestingly, Real Madrid legend Guti also expressed a desire for his club to pursue Erling Haaland.
Gavi emphasized that Barcelona would see a significant improvement if they were to sign the Norwegian striker, who could guarantee at least 40 goals per season. Haaland, 24, excels as a center forward and has a contract with Manchester City that runs until June 2027.
