Ancelotti sends Real Madrid star to train with youth team and warns the team’s star player against losing his place in the starting lineup

Real Madrid narrowly secured a 3-2 victory against Deportivo Alaves on Tuesday evening in the seventh round of La Liga at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, bringing their points total to 17 and placing them second in the standings, while Alaves remains eighth with 10 points.

Despite the win, coach Carlo Ancelotti expressed dissatisfaction and confronted several players in the dressing room. He specifically advised Spanish defender Jesus Vallejo to seek a new club in the winter, as he felt Vallejo did not meet the level required for Real Madrid. This criticism came after Vallejo’s substitution for Militao coincided with Alaves scoring two goals and nearly equalizing in the final moments of the match.

Real Madrid fans voiced their frustration, chanting for Vallejo to be substituted. Ancelotti also reprimanded star player Tchouameni for his role in Alaves’ second goal, warning him to maintain intensity throughout matches or risk losing his starting position once Camavinga returns from injury.

The Italian coach is on the verge of agreeing to sell the French player, who has yet to demonstrate the necessary level to remain at Real Madrid, with several Premier League clubs showing interest in acquiring him.

Additionally, the newspaper reported that Florentino Perez expressed unprecedented anger at Ancelotti’s substitutions, directly confronting him in the locker room and warning him not to repeat such decisions that nearly cost the team valuable points. Perez was particularly displeased with the substitution of Militao, who had been performing well; he noted that this change allowed Alaves to exploit gaps in Real Madrid’s defense and urged Ancelotti to be more cautious with substitutions in future matches.
