BREAKING NEWS: Reports live from sky sports, Mo Salah move away ‘AGREED’ 🚨

A former Premier League striker has shared insider information about the future of long-time Liverpool player Mohamed Salah, sparking rumors about a possible departure. Salah’s contract situation is under scrutiny, with only nine months remaining on his current deal and no signs of a new agreement.

During a talkSPORT Breakfast appearance, Gabriel Agbonlahor, a former Aston Villa striker, confidently claimed that Salah will move to Saudi Arabia next year for a record-breaking contract, making him the highest-paid player in the league. Agbonlahor stated, “I know Salah’s going. I’ve got a source that told me Salah’s definitely going to Saudi, on a record contract. He’ll earn more than [Cristiano] Ronaldo; he’ll be the face of football over there. You can’t turn that down if you’re Mo Salah. He’s done everything at Liverpool, hasn’t he?”

However, Agbonlahor’s assertions should be approached with caution, especially given a recent angry response from Salah’s agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, who dismissed claims from unnamed ‘insiders’ and stated that any rumors of an imminent move were “based on absolutely nothing.”

Agbonlahor isn’t alone in suggesting a potential exit for Salah. Former Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha has also pointed to Salah’s body language as a sign that he might leave in the summer of 2025.

While Saudi clubs could offer Salah a lucrative deal, he is still performing at a high level. His impressive start to the season indicates he has much to contribute to top European football, and at 32, he is far from the end of his career.

Critics may be eager to see Salah depart, especially since he frequently excels against their teams. However, based on his current form, it appears the Egyptian King will likely remain a key player for Liverpool for the foreseeable future.
