My problem started when we signed him. The players stopped playing well all of a sudden. I couldn’t control the situation at that time, that was the same thing tha happened with him and Erik Ten Hag”-Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has finally admitted what Manchester United fans always suspected was the problem about Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United which is still affecting the club now.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has discussed his choice to re-sign Cristiano Ronaldo for Manchester United, revealing that the club aimed to prevent him from joining Manchester City. At the Oslo Business Forum, Solskjaer highlighted Ronaldo’s status as a club legend but acknowledged that his return might have disrupted the locker room dynamics, leading some players to feel less valued.

He pointed out that Ronaldo had a significant impact, finishing as the team’s top scorer with 24 goals during his return season. However, Solskjaer’s tenure at the club ended just ten weeks later, reflecting the instability of that time.

Since leaving his managerial role, Solskjaer has shown interest in returning to Old Trafford in some capacity, while Ronaldo currently plays for Al Nassr, with his contract expiring next year.
