Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski reportedly turned down a £50 million annual offer from a Saudi Arabian club during the summer transfer window, choosing to stay with the Catalan team. Since arriving from Bayern Munich in July 2022, the 36-year-old striker has played 100 matches for Barcelona, scoring 63 goals and providing 19 assists.
Last season, he recorded 26 goals and 9 assists in 49 appearances, although there was some speculation about his future, given he has two years remaining on his contract, with an option for a third. Despite rumors of a potential sale, he swiftly declined the lucrative Saudi proposal.
This season, Lewandowski has continued his strong performance, netting four goals and assisting two in five La Liga matches. While some speculate he might consider a move to Saudi Arabia later in his career, his current play indicates he remains a top competitor.
