If he choose Arsenal over Man City, I’ll resign as a football coach…He’s the player we can’t afford to see him playing for them, they may become undefeatable with him”: Pep Guardiola angered by World-class player’s decision to join Arsenal as Man City increases bid to convince him from Arsenal transfer

Arsenal is making strides under Mikel Arteta and is reportedly aiming to bolster its squad with significant signings in 2025.

According to CaughtOffside, the Gunners are interested in Bournemouth players Antoine Semenyo and Milos Kerkez, each valued at approximately €80 million.

With potential departures of Oleksandr Zinchenko and Kieran Tierney, the club may need to sell players like Jakub Kiwior to accommodate a new left-back, especially since Riccardo Calafiori has recently joined and Jurrien Timber is also an option.

Arsenal’s ambitions are clear: after narrowly missing out on the Premier League title for the past two seasons, they are in a strong position to finally win it. With Manchester City struggling and key player Rodri out for the season, Arsenal has a favorable opportunity.

After being cautious with their spending over the summer, they should have the resources to make key moves in January if needed.

The report suggests that Semenyo is viewed as a potential backup for the essential Bukayo Saka, while Kerkez could provide an alternative at left-back.

Acquiring Semenyo (24) and Kerkez (20) would require a substantial investment, given Bournemouth’s €80 million asking price. Arsenal’s transfer strategy will need careful negotiation, as although both players are young and have Premier League experience, they may not significantly elevate the squad.

It would be unsurprising for Arsenal to target the Premier League market again, considering their previous successes in this area. The signings of players like Ben White, Leandro Trossard, Declan Rice, and David Raya show that investing in the league can lead to positive outcomes.
