Hansi Flick decides to exclude Barcelona star from Bayern Munich and Real Madrid matches

Hansi Flick, the head coach of Barcelona’s first team, has made a decision about Gavi’s role for the upcoming matches, especially ahead of the critical fixtures against Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.

Barcelona is preparing for a series of important games after the international break, including a significant Champions League match against Bayern Munich and a La Liga showdown against Real Madrid that could impact the league standings.

According to the Spanish newspaper “AS,” Flick has chosen to leave Gavi out of the squad for the upcoming match against Sevilla. This decision aims to protect the player, considering the tough matches against Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are on the horizon.

Gavi is expected to be ready for a return by the end of October and might have the opportunity to play against Sevilla, but Flick’s cautious strategy means he will miss that game.

Consequently, Gavi will have to wait until November 3rd for a chance to play, with hopes of getting some minutes against Espanyol before facing Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.

The report adds that Gavi is disappointed with Flick’s decision, as he is eager to participate in both crucial matches, even if only for a short time. Nevertheless, Flick has opted to keep him out of the lineup for these upcoming games.
