Although Hansi Flick has become Barcelona’s new head coach, Bild reports that a transfer to the Catalan club seems unlikely. Barcelona’s primary challenge is their financial state; they would need to sell a high-earning player to accommodate Kimmich’s salary.
Kimmich, whose contract with Bayern Munich is valid until 2025, has not yet made a decision about renewing it. He may be waiting to assess how things unfold under Bayern’s new coach, Vincent Kompany.
