Barcelona has been my dream Club Since childhood and I will love to play with Lamine Yamal

Rivaldo, a well-known former Barcelona player, has advised the team to avoid rushing into a deal for Nico Williams.

Barcelona is currently making significant efforts to acquire the 22-year-old from Athletic Club this summer.

An orderly arrangement is crucial for Barcelona. Discussions are expected to continue until August before a final decision is made by either party.

While Barcelona fans are confident that Williams will join the team soon, Rivaldo has suggested that no deal will be finalized as long as Real Madrid has signed Kylian Mbappe.

“I genuinely care about Barcelona, but I can’t deny that Real Madrid is currently ahead,” Rivaldo stated. He believes that while it would be beneficial for Nico Williams to join Barcelona, the team must make one or two additional signings to become a truly captivating force, as suggested by rumors from Marca.

“Barcelona needs to prove they can match Real Madrid’s level,” Rivaldo added. Even with Nico Williams on the team, Barcelona must demonstrate their strength, particularly in El Clasico.

“Simply acquiring Nico Williams won’t be enough for Barcelona to outshine Real Madrid, especially with Mbappe on their side.”

No updates on the deal are expected in the coming weeks as Williams is on an extended summer break and Barcelona is still working to secure the funds needed to make an offer.
