Real Madrid fea.rs the departure of Ancelotti’s favorite player after the European Super Cup final

Real Madrid is gearing up for their first official match of the season, where they will face Italian champions Atalanta, the Europa League winners, in the European Super Cup final. It was noted that Real Madrid secured the Champions League title last season by defeating Borussia Dortmund of Germany with a 2-0 score.

Real Madrid is getting ready for their first official match of the season, where they will face Italian champions Atalanta, the Europa League winners, in the European Super Cup final. Last season, Real Madrid claimed their fifteenth European title by defeating Borussia Dortmund 2-0 in the Champions League final.

According to Defensa Central, Ferland Mendy is a player highly valued by Ancelotti, who wants to retain him for many years. However, Mendy could potentially leave during the current transfer window.

The French full-back has recently attracted renewed interest from the Saudi League, which has offered him a salary between €12 and €13 million net per season. However, they are only willing to pay Real Madrid a transfer fee of up to €8 million.

The newspaper also reported that Ferland Mendy is leaning towards renewing his contract with Real Madrid, with whom he has already reached a verbal agreement. The final step is for him to sign the contract and formalize the deal.

Carlo Ancelotti is highly motivated to extend the contract of the Frenchman, who has recently returned to his top form. The Italian coach values Mendy for his ability to provide balance to the team and enhance its defense, as Mendy effectively covers the flanks with minimal assistance.

This doesn’t mean Ancelotti is not interested in Davies, who remains a target for the club. Ideally, the coach wants both players: the best attacking full-back and the best defensive full-back. The priority now is to secure Ferland Mendy’s signature. Since a verbal agreement is already in place, the formalization of the contract should occur soon, resolving speculation about his potential move to Saudi Arabia.
