Hansi Flick will not count on him and the player packs his bags and leaves Barcelona

Barcelona is working to resolve its financial issues to secure one or two high-profile signings for the upcoming season. The club has managed to finalize a deal for Dani Olmo, the star midfielder from both the Spanish national team and RB Leipzig. However, Olmo’s registration has been delayed due to salary cap constraints, and Barcelona will need to offload one or more players to accommodate him.

Recent reports from El Nacional reveal that Barcelona is still reshaping its squad for the new season. Among those affected by this process is Alex Valle, the young left-back who has returned from a loan spell at Levante.

Hansi Flick has informed Valle that he will not be part of the first team this season, prompting Valle to seek a new opportunity. He is expected to join Celtic Glasgow on loan, with the Scottish club covering his full salary during this period.

Despite showing promise and versatility during pre-season, including playing as a right-back on the US tour, Valle did not receive playing time in Barcelona’s first two league matches.

Barcelona acknowledges the importance of regular play for Valle’s development, leading to his loan move. Valle has been seen as one of the most promising talents from La Masia, but increased competition and Flick’s preference for other players have pushed him towards a departure from Camp Nou.
