Lewandowski issues st.ern warning to team stars who were forced to stay

With the transfer window now closed, Barcelona have finalized their squad for the season. The additions of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor have bolstered their attacking options, while the departure of several players has streamlined the roster. Despite this, in the final days of the transfer market, some players were rumored to be on the move but ultimately stayed due to limited options for Hansi Flick, who now faces the task of motivating those who were on the verge of leaving.

Spanish newspaper El Nacional reported that Eric Garcia, after a successful loan at Girona, was expected to leave but remained at Barcelona. Similarly, Ansu Fati, who had several offers from European clubs over the summer, is still with the team. With the arrival of Dani Olmo and the emergence of Lamine Yamal, Fati’s chances of securing a starting spot have diminished.

In response to the situation, Robert Lewandowski has issued a strong message to his teammates, urging them to give their all. Lewandowski emphasized that Barcelona’s success this season hinges on the commitment of all players, including those who were reluctant to stay. He stated: “There is no room for doubt or discouragement; the mission is clear: fight for every possible title.”

Flick now faces the challenge of integrating these players, assigning them roles within the team, and maintaining team cohesion. For Barcelona, the time to act is now.
