Al-Nassr have offered a €20m per year contract to one Man Utd target with Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly desperate for the Saudi side to add to their squad
Al Nassr have kicked off the Saudi Pro League season without a loss, drawing 1-1 with Al-Raed and winning 4-1 against Al-Fayha, with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring in both games.
After finishing second last season, Al Nassr aims to improve their performance, though they were 14 points behind champions Al-Hilal. To bolster their title chances, the club signed players like Angelo from Chelsea and Mohamad Simakan. Despite the transfer window closing, Al Nassr is still eyeing one more addition.
RMC Sport reports that Al Nassr has proposed a €20 million annual contract to free agent and French international Adrien Rabiot. Ronaldo is reportedly eager for Rabiot to join, but it’s unclear if Rabiot is interested in moving to the Middle East.
Although joining Al Nassr would offer Rabiot a lucrative contract, the 29-year-old has expressed a desire to play in the Premier League, which he sees as aligning with his skills. He has not yet selected a Premier League team, but his interest in the league remains strong.
Rabiot came close to joining Manchester United in 2022 after Juventus and the club reached an agreement, but the transfer fell through due to difficulties in agreeing on personal terms.
Despite Manchester United bolstering their midfield with Manuel Ugarte’s signing, L’Equipe reported in July that the Premier League club had renewed their interest in Rabiot.
