Liverpool’s first kit under Adidas has been leaked online ahead of the Reds reportedly switching to the three stripes.
Since 2020, Liverpool’s kits have been produced by Nike under a multi-year contract. This agreement is expected to end after the 2024/25 season, leading to speculation that Liverpool might join Arsenal, Manchester United, Newcastle, and Aston Villa in switching to Adidas. Footy Headlines has shared leaked images of the 2025/26 goalkeeper shirt design, which features a black base with light green accents. The design includes Adidas’s signature three-stripes on the shoulders and sleeves, as well as the Liverpool badge and Standard Chartered logo, all in matching colors. This shirt, designed based on the Adidas 25 Tiro Goalkeeper Competition, will debut in summer 2025.
No further details about Liverpool’s other kits have emerged yet. Currently, Nike pays Liverpool a base fee of £30 million per season, potentially reaching £50 million with royalties from shirt sales. The new Adidas deal is expected to be significantly more lucrative and follows Puma’s interest. This will mark Liverpool’s third partnership with Adidas, having previously worked with them between 1985-1996 and 2006-2012. Additionally, Adidas has signed Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold for their Predator boots. The Adidas agreement is seen as a significant move, especially after losing the German national team to Nike in 2027, a team that had been with Adidas for over 70 years.
