Mikel Arteta has informed Arsenal players that he will never play for the club again

European clubs have finalized their Champions League squads for the upcoming season, with no adjustments allowed until January. Arsenal, participating for the second year in a row, aims to build on their previous season’s performance, where they were eliminated in the quarterfinals.

Mikel Arteta has included all of Arsenal’s key players in the squad, but one unexpected name has drawn attention: Kieran Tierney. This is surprising given that Tierney was informed earlier this summer that he was not in Arsenal’s long-term plans and was expected to leave during the transfer window.

Despite attempts to move away from the Emirates, Tierney remains with the squad, even though he is currently injured. According to *Football Scotland*, his presence in the Champions League roster might indicate that Arsenal is giving him another chance to prove himself this season. This decision suggests that once Tierney recovers, he could still play a significant role in Arsenal’s campaign.

From a strategic perspective, Tierney could prove to be a valuable asset for Arsenal, especially if injuries occur later in the season. His availability adds depth and flexibility to the team, helping them to be well-prepared for any challenges they face.
